Boarding AK0052 to Macau

7th May 2011

I'm on my way to LCCT to board flight AK0052 to Macau (12.40pm) and will be spending my time in Hong Kong for the next 5 nights and back to Macau for 1 night. I have been planning for this holiday since last year after me and my fren agree on the holiday destination and plan.

As my alarm clock screaming for me to wake up, I was already tossing around my bed anxious to get ready and looking forward to my holiday in Hong Kong and Macau. My housemate fetch me for breakfast at a mamak shop for roti canai and chapati before driving me to KL Sentral. I'm glad that I don't have to wake up so early to take the bus then LRT to KL Sentral. As the car approaching KL Sentral, I have called my frens and they are there having breakfast in Mc D.

It was a good day/morning looking forward to my holiday, at around 9.00pm we board the Skybus to LCCT. My fren already did a web check-in so we only need to reach LCCT an hr earlier to check in our lugage.

We bough 3 bottles of 1.5L of water and check in our lugage as water in HK is very expensive but then its never enough. In Hong Kong mineral water can cost you up to $20 per bottle for a 700ml size. It is as expensive as a set meal for breakfast!!

As the clock on my watch ticking away, I'm now on my flight to Macau. We did not buy any meal but by the time we on the flight, I felt hungry and bough sandwiches and hot milo for a ridiculous flight price. oh yeah!!! It was rather comfortable ride as there are no kids screaming or crying on the plane. As for the weather it was unpredictable as the plane was moving up and down and making me feel a little nausea. I had a good sleep for an hour before I realise that we are going to land on Macau International Airport.

Yes! Landed safely on the ground of Macau the Portugese occupation state that has been return to China since 1997... Once we got our lugage we proceed to get a taxi to Macau Ferry Terminal which cost us ar $69. Next we start searching for First Ferry ticket booth and bough 3 tickets to Hong Kong Ferry Terminal ( China Ferry Terminal - nearer to Tsim Sha Tsui MTR) costing each ticket $155. I plan to reach ferry terminal at 5pm but due to the slow service of lugage that we were 30 mins late and cause our plan distorted so we end up buying ticket for 5.30pm ferry ticket and will reach Hong Kong around 6.30pm.

While on the ferry I purchased a packet of vitasoya ($8), both my fren have maggi mee on the ferry. I don't feel comfortable eating on water transportation... haha!

Once we reach the other side of Ferry, it was breath taking looking at the skyscraper displayed right before your eye like a poster painting so near to the sea water. Huge and tall building with all sort of shapes and colors welcoming you to Hong Kong. It was magnificent view to me as I never had such a close encounter with tall and huge building in rows near to the sea water.
