Happy New Year!!!!! Guest what? I was in Kota Sarang Semut sort of stay late into the nite to welcome year 2006 while watching LOTR and counting the hours. I have never see so much paddy and of course the paddy field in my entrie life. You see, I stay near the beach not on wet land like the paddy field.
Going up Gunung Jerai was so cooling, as the van brough us up and up the cool air blowing on my face start to freeze, so is my facial muscle. =.="
It was like going up Cameron Highland but a little smaller version of it. High on the gunung, looking down from it...yellow patches everywhere down below. Some are retangular and some are oblong in shape. They are the paddy field..it is the most unbelievable sight and surprisingly awesome from the top of the gunung. One word...WOW!!! Its breath taking and so colling up on the gunung then its' started to rain..%^&*
From a far, we saw an island name Pulau Bunting, there is a bridge connected to the island from the mainland. Currently there is no way to go there with our cars except that you need to walk on the bridge for an 1 hr to reach there...boat or just swim accross - la...hahaha. That place is good for fishing. O.k all fishing lover....new place to fish.
The day end with the last visit to the Kedah Museum...just imagine some maniquin dress in tradisional costume and dead animal been display and not to forget the artificial artifact and so on. All of us reach Pg around 6.30 pm by bus and I have a good sleep...a very good one..hehehe.
